Security model
Vestige Index is designed as a non-custodial DeFi interface. It presents execution routes, wallet connection, route context, fees, and protocol access, but users sign transactions directly from their own wallets.

What Vestige Index does not do
- It does not custody user funds.
- It does not maintain an internal user balance ledger.
- It does not reverse confirmed onchain transactions.
- It does not guarantee third-party protocol performance.
- It does not replace wallet security, device security, or user address verification.

Execution dependencies
- LI.FI for primary cross-chain and EVM routing.
- 1inch for same-chain EVM liquidity depth.
- ParaSwap as EVM fallback.
- THORChain for native BTC routes.
- Jupiter for the controlled Solana lane.
- Lido and Aave for earn access surfaces where applicable.

Public trust posture
- Fees are shown before signing.
- Provider context is shown before execution.
- Public wallet references are exposed through the Transparency and Security pages.
- Audit publication is pending and should be treated as a launch readiness item.
