Clear rules for wallet-native software.
These statements are drafted for product transparency and risk disclosure. They emphasize Vestige Index's non-custodial design, the self-directed nature of user activity, third-party protocol exposure, and the need for separate legal review under MiCA, German law, and any other applicable local regime.
Non-custodial software interface
Vestige Index is designed as a self-directed, non-custodial software interface. Users connect their own wallets, review transaction data, and sign or reject transactions locally. Vestige Index does not hold private keys, does not take possession of user crypto-assets, and does not maintain omnibus custody accounts for customers.
No fiduciary, broker, or investment-advice relationship
Nothing on the interface constitutes investment advice, portfolio management, personal recommendation, legal advice, tax advice, brokerage, custody, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument or crypto-asset. Content is provided for information and software interaction only, and users remain responsible for their own decisions.
User-controlled execution
Transactions are initiated by the user and only become effective after the user signs with a compatible wallet. Vestige Index does not unilaterally move user funds, cannot reverse blockchain transactions, and does not guarantee access to liquidity, execution quality, protocol uptime, or settlement finality.
Third-party protocols and smart contract risk
The interface may display, route to, or integrate with third-party protocols, bridges, aggregators, liquidity sources, wallet connectors, staking systems, APIs, or blockchain networks. Those services are independent from Vestige Index and may involve market, technical, counterparty, bridge, smart contract, oracle, governance, validator, depeg, slashing, cybersecurity, and availability risks.
BTC native access and VIGIX utility
Native BTC routing access may require a minimum VIGIX holding or a software access tier. Vestige Index may choose not to add a platform fee on native BTC routes, while third-party provider, liquidity, network, protocol, bridge, and settlement costs may still apply.
Regulatory positioning
Vestige Index intends to operate as a non-custodial software layer. Laws and regulatory interpretations, including under MiCA, German supervisory practice, sanctions rules, AML frameworks, consumer protection rules, and local licensing regimes, may change or be applied differently depending on facts and jurisdiction. No statement on this interface should be read as a representation that any activity is exempt from regulation in every case.
No offer where restricted
This interface is not directed to persons in jurisdictions where access, use, or the underlying crypto-asset activity would be unlawful or require prior registration, licensing, prospectus approval, or other authorization that has not been obtained. Users must ensure that accessing or using the interface is lawful in their jurisdiction.
No consumer deposit or safeguarding relationship
Vestige Index does not accept fiat deposits, does not guarantee redemption rights, does not promise principal protection, and does not act as a bank, e-money institution, depositary, trustee, escrow agent, or custodian for user funds. Users bear direct on-chain exposure to the protocols and assets they choose to interact with.
Compliance, tax, and eligibility
Users are solely responsible for compliance with applicable laws, tax obligations, reporting duties, token eligibility restrictions, and wallet screening requirements. By using the interface, users represent that they are not prohibited from accessing the services under applicable sanctions, export controls, or other legal restrictions.
Software access tiers
UTXO Suite, developer, API, extension, SDK, CDN, and related access tiers grant software feature access for a fixed period where applicable. Access purchases are not investment products, not financial advice, not deposit products, and not tax-deductible contributions.
No warranty; limitation of reliance
The interface is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. On-chain data, pricing data, quotes, route previews, access checks, and estimated outputs may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, rate-limited, or fail to execute as expected.
Legal review recommended
This page is a product disclaimer and policy summary, not a substitute for individualized legal advice. Operators, contributors, and users should obtain advice from qualified counsel in the jurisdictions relevant to their activities, especially before relying on any regulatory characterization under MiCA, German law, or other local rules.
